I was looking for a product that had acoustic and thermal properties and found that the Platinum “R” Floor covered my needs. The solid feel under foot gives a confidence that the product will live up to expectations. With the changes to the NCC, I will be using Platinum “R” Floor for all of my builds in the future.

Thank you for providing your Platinum Floor 64mm product to both of our jobs. This is the first time using this product and was pleasantly surprised and impressed. Weight wise they were easily handled by two persons. The sheets stood up well to the elements with no sign of delaminating even with quite a bit of rain on one of the jobs. Wet area step downs were easily obtained as we just used Scyon or similar 19mm to these areas giving a 45mm step down. All in all I highly rate this product and will definitely be using this again on any future jobs. 

While searching for a product that offered a sturdy feel underfoot as we transitioned from a concrete slab to a subfloor system, I came across Platinum “R” floor. I was looking for a product that was going to give me a solid feel underneath the feet, recreate the suspended slab feel, the sound deadening but without the extra weight and cost. It was a new product and after talking with Peter & Ben from Platinum, seeing some samples and hearing of how the product performed in it’s testing, we went for it. I was very happy and impressed with the product, install and performance. I now am recommending this to our customers and would recommend to anyone looking for this solution.
